A four-story office shell building with built out cores and related site improvements on a vacant lot.

Part of a two-person design team, I was the head LEED project coordinator. My responsibilities included communicating proper credit assignments to individual sub-contractors, supervising and reviewing the completion of credits, and fully executing all architectural related credits.
In addition, I came up with a ‘Public LEED Education Awareness’ credit within the Innovation in Design category which awarded the project more points. Within this credit, I developed a tour itinerary that demonstrated the ways in which this project was sustainable and organized public tours on site. I also created a LEED awareness link on the project’s website, educating people about LEED, and provided examples of some credits completed for this project. I designed educational ‘Sustainable Fun facts’ signs that are on display throughout the building and around the site for tenants and those taking the LEED tour to learn from. Furthermore, I put together a LEED binder for the building tenants that lists each appointed credit for the project and the required documentation so they can see how green the building is.

This project earned 62 points awarding it a LEED Gold certification!
