Rachel Freund

The summer of 2011, I interned at Amgen headquarters, a Pharmaceutical Corporation in Thousand Oaks, California. They have facilities all across the world. The headquarters employs 8,000 staff members within a fifty-building campus. In the space planning department, I was in charge of analyzing and improving spatial data for the Thousand Oak campus. I reduced spatial data inaccuracies by 95% after auditing buildings collecting data and systematizing my findings with MoveCentral and Archibus software. I also demonstrated to the department ways to regulate spatial discrepancies in the future.
