LAM RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT FACILITY
FREMONT, CALIFORNIA
One of the few projects at Devcon Construction to be done entirely in-house (Design-Build). It was exciting to oversee the entire project from its designs development sketches to construction.

LAM Research and Development is the corporate headquarters in the United States and also has a manufacturing facility now on-site. They have buildings locations all over the world. With advanced microchips in many familiar every day used products, like mobile phones, computer devices and entertainment systems, LAM fabricates and manufactures machinery that build those tiny complex chips. Our project consisted of a new 173,466 SF, three-story manufacturing facility which hosts offices, conference rooms, laboratories, and state-of-the-art cleanrooms.

Part of a two-person design team, my responsibilities included assisting in design development, drafting the construction documentation, designing and detailing vertical circulation, conducting material research, renderings, presenting finish boards, attending weekly site visits with client and consultants, and providing monthly project summary updates.
